About the stay

Pinecone Cottage is a private two-bedroom house built in the kath-kuni style, with stone and deodar walls that stay warm through winter. The living room has a wood fireplace and a long window towards the Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal ridges. The orchard below the house has apple and plum trees; in September guests can pick their own. A caretaker family lives in the house next door and cooks Himachali meals on request. Old Manali's cafés are a 10-minute walk down the lane.
